Where was once a Room
Not a mention whose small Pebble
Wrinkled any Sea,
Unto such, were such Assembly,
‘Twere “Thanksgiving day” -
"To elope is cowardly; it is running away from danger,
and danger has become so rare in modern life."
Danger forces people to run away which is a cowardice.
However, in modern life danger has become invisible.
In modern life, there is no need to run away anymore.
Lack of or absence of danger forced people to
become not only conservative but also static and lethargic.
In the past, people ran from danger like a coward.
But in the present, people do nothing about it; they don't even try to run away.
Sometimes, danger can inspire people to take action: the sign of courage.
Sometimes, it can petrify people so that they think, feel, do nothing.
To run away from danger out of fear is better than
to stay put and do nothing.
Call me a coward or a quitter.
Judge me however you want.
It is time for to make the jump.
I will not sit by window and get drowned.
Do not fear.
For jump is not as bad as staying.
